Swampers

I originally planned to give Utila just one day as it is overtouristed but then I discovered that there is an endemic iguana, the Swamper and that the conservation centre is open every Wednesday so I had to go and take a look.

There were a number of lizards in enclosures of various sizes.
 

They also had a second species of lizard also restricted to the Bay islands.
