It seemed a shame to visit a country with two major oceans and only see one so I got a shuttle van down from Oaxacato pochutla near the Pacific and from there made my way to Zipolite beach onthe coast. The currents make swimming here impossible but the scenery is much more dramatic than on the Carribean.
The area has a bit of a hippy feel and is technically a nude beach though luckily the nudes, who all seem to be large men in their late 50s, are restricted to certain areas so the view isnt spoiled too much
Yesterday I visited a turtle rescue centre and today I plan to find somewhere to swim and then get the overnight bus to mexico city away from at least some of the heat and mosquitos.
